From July 17 to 19, the 2024 Unmanned Mobile Industry Expo (UWC) was grandly held at COEX in Seoul, South Korea. SGWRD showcased a range of independently innovative camera products and solutions at Booth C533 in Hall C.
The 2024 Unmanned Mobile Industry Expo (UWC) is a major industrial event co-hosted by six departments, including the Ministry of Science and ICT of Korea and the Korea Aerospace Research Institute. As a leading supplier of visual imaging products and solutions, SGWRD is committed to providing high-quality images for unmanned systems. At this expo, SENSING displayed a series of camera modules and multi-camera fusion solutions suitable for aerial UAVs, ground UGVs, and more, attracting significant attention from global exhibitors and industry customers.
During the expo, SGWRD presented a wide range of products, including GMSL cameras, MIPI cameras, smart cockpit cameras, low-latency cameras, optical zoom cameras, and infrared thermal imaging cameras. Based on these camera modules, SGWRD offered solutions for multi-camera fusion imaging, ultra-low latency video transmission, and long-distance imaging, which can be widely applied to scenarios such as unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), AMRs for passenger and cargo transportation, exploration, UAV racing, surveillance, search and rescue, and long-distance observation.
As the first team in China to complete the design and mass production of digital coaxial cameras, SGWRD's 1MP-8MP GMSL camera modules attracted the attention of many professional visitors due to their advanced high-quality imaging technology. These camera modules are suitable for long-distance, low-latency, high-quality transmission scenarios and have been widely used in various vehicles, vehicle-road collaboration, UGVs, and more.
Additionally, in the exhibition area, SGWRD showcased six major categories of camera modules, including MIPI cameras, ultra-low latency cameras, thermal imaging cameras, and optical visible zoom cameras, fully demonstrating SGWRD's technical strength and innovation capability in high-quality imaging.
The MIPI cameras and ultra-low latency cameras exhibited by SGWRD garnered significant attention. MIPI cameras feature high optical precision, high reliability, and excellent temperature drift performance, making them suitable for applications requiring short-distance transmission, such as various robots, handheld devices, floor-cleaning robots, and AGVs. The ultra-low latency cameras feature HDR high dynamic range imaging, long-distance low-latency image transmission, and high-definition smooth display, enabling drone operators to achieve highly real-time, immersive visual experiences for tasks such as aerial photography and drone racing.
At the exhibition, SGWRD's thermal imaging cameras and optical zoom cameras attracted considerable interest and discussion. The thermal imaging cameras offer high sensitivity/uniformity, excellent temporal/spatial noise performance, and high dynamic range temperature imaging, making them ideal for drone surveillance, night vision, search and rescue, and other scenarios. The visible light zoom cameras support 3.3x optical zoom, can achieve high-sensitivity and low-noise imaging, and feature high-sensitivity sensors for high-quality imaging in low-light environments, making them widely applicable for long-distance observation and inspection by drones.
As unmanned technology continues to evolve, drones and unmanned vehicles have increasingly become a part of our daily lives, with the industry set for rapid growth. As a leading supplier of imaging products and visual solutions in China, SGWRD will make every effort to contribute to the development of the unmanned industry.
In the future, SGWRD will continue to explore cutting-edge technologies, increasing investment in the research and development of visual imaging and technology to provide customers with better and more efficient imaging products and services. At the same time, SGWRD looks forward to deeper exchanges and discussions with industry peers, working together to promote the high-quality development of the industry.
